There are some “tracking” lines visible on the carriage grind rails - is this a problem ?
No! lines or flats may appear but they are not detrimental to the grind.
They may not be flats - it may be some grinding debris rolled and compacted onto the rails by the carriage bearings (hence the importance of cleaning rails as part of your routine maintenance) try wiping (or gently scraping) off the debris with the assistance of WD40 or similar product.
