Fast, accurate chipper blade grinding

The Chippermaster has been developed, using Bernhard's extensive history of precision blade sharpening, to meet the needs of the most demanding user, grinding chipper blades efficiently and accurately to within thousandths of an inch.

Designed to grind blades individually or in sets, the powerful motor removes material quickly whilst the flood coolant system keeps blade temperatures under control. With its fine tolerances and ability to produce any desired angle, the Chippermaster ensures that chipper machines can be kept in perfect working order.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Developed with our extensive experience of blade grinding machines to provide quick, high quality results.
• Motor 1.5 HP (1.1 kW) 110v 60 Hz single cycle with overload protection. Direct drive to grind stone @ 3800 RPM. Grind stone easily changeable according to blade material
• Chassis sturdy welded upper machine chassis with replaceable guide rails, configured to machine tool principles, upon which the motor carriage runs on precision bearings. Fully enclosed ,welded support chassis.
• Blade mounting simple mounting onto a precision, rigid support member. This can be rotated to  accommodate any required blade angle. Simple adjustment is provided to ensure alignment for parallel grinding results.
• In/Out feed accurate application by hand wheel on the grinding head carriage. (Automatic in feed to be supplied on full production machines)
• Automatic traverse patented damped chain drive system with continuously rated 60W motor/gearbox unit.
• Flood coolant system with flow control. Self priming coolant pump and weir type settlement tank reservoir.
• Liftover guard in clear impact resistant plastic for safety and coolant retention
